At Gustharts, we stock the ART SnakeTail, This is a multi-use tool that can be used when working or climbing with ropes. ART stands for Advanced Ropeclimbing Technology and supplies energy efficient equipment for climbers.

It is a certified mobile anchor device with adjustable length in 5cm intervals. It has a great abrasion resistance. It is 115cm in length and 170g in weight.

The SnakeTail can be used with a lanyard between the climbing harness and ascender as a redirection anchor or a short safety line. You can remove the SnakeTail grooved ring. Just unscrew the safety screw of the sleeve and remove. Once this has been done, the free rope friction sling can be used as a lanyard. You can now quickly connect the SnakeTail to the RopeZipper, which is a shock absorber.

The ART SnakeTail is a special rope as its 50% Dyneema and 50% polyester that are abrasion and UV resistant, ensuring exceptional tear strength with a small amount of expansion. It’s easy to use with its braiding in the core and sheath.
