Climbing Rope Care

Firstly we have a rope brush. This is made by Beal and has a special spiral brush that is designed for cleaning climbing ropes. It is very easy to use and it can be used on any rope diameter, saving you having to buy multiple rope brushes. To use, all you need to do is twist the brush onto the rope and then run the rope through the brush whilst holding it firmly under water. Repeat this until clean. It is important to do this because your rope can become covered in mud or sap, so keep it in the best condition with our useful tree climbing gear. The rope brush is inexpensive and does the job.

We have an assortment of tree climbing equipment and the scrubba rope detergent can be useful when cleaning those dirty ropes. It is made by Teufelberger and it specifically adapts to the requirements of fibre ropes. It washes the rope gently and easily. It can be used in the washing machine and for hand washing too.
