A Hydrostatic Head of 10000mm means that a tent fabric could hold column of water 10000mm (1.0m of head). 10000mm of water exerts more pressure on the fabric than a 5000mm of water, so a more accurate description of Hydrostatic Head is the measure of water pressure equivalent to 1.0m of water.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe higher the Hydrostatic Head value, the more water resistant a fabric is, and the more water pressure it can withstand before it leaks.
