eCommerce & Digital Marketing Manager


Overview

We're looking to add an eCommerce manager to our staff to help grow and expand upon our current website.  

The role would be ideal for anyone looking to progress their career in a role they can make their own, utilising all their skills (and learn a few new ones) with the benefit of flexible full-time working that can fit around school hours or other commitments. Headline

1. Day to day management of the site. Drive change and challenge as appropriate to drive profit growth

2. Enhance current website while maintaining CMS

3. Social media. Launch posts and manage business activity calendar. Execute posts on time and regularly. (This does not have to but can include the writing of content)

4. Manage the data of the CRM system & distribute newsletters and blogs

5. Liaise with agencies & providers, build relationships and challenge results/analytics on behalf of the business to increase brand awareness

6. Review customer journey and recommend changes. Work with agency to improve and drive sales/profit

7. Deliver enhanced analytics from the website. Work with suppliers to drive results

Key duties

1. Enhance current website and review UX journey – maximise sales and link purchases

2. Amend products, pricing and offers

3. Create a clearance channel

4. Update and manage social media and links to products

5. Plan the roadmap with MD for future features

6. Maintain legislation and policies

7. Manage a calendar of key marketing events (organic and paid)

8. Work with couriers on new services

9. Set up marketplace (if required)

10. Manage commodity codes for exports

Expectations

· Vast experience in managing eComm sites

· Desire to make changes and implement

· Strong attention to detail

· Able to make recommendations for change based on facts

· Able to seek opportunities to deliver brand awareness and ROI on paid marketing

Required

· Must be able to work face to face at our premises in NE13 6DA for min of 5 hours per working day

· Able to learn a technical product mix to deliver an improved customer experience

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Newcastle upon Tyne: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • E-commerce: 2 years (preferred)
