The ISC Apex Rope Wrench builds on the legendary performance of the original ISC Rope Wrench, first introduced in 2013 and widely recognised for unlocking the full potential of Stationary Rope Technique (SRT) climbing. The Apex enhances the proven design with improved functionality, faster adjustments and the exceptional engineering quality ISC is known for.

The ISC Apex is not designed for primary life support. For a CE PPE Regulation certified system, refer to kit KT282.
A new adjustable cam system lets users quickly select between multiple friction settings depending on rope type and diameter. The spring-loaded cam adjustment can be changed in seconds without tools — open the side plate, rotate the cam to the desired setting and close the device. A swing-open side frame allows fast mid-line attachment even when wearing gloves, and a push-button opening mechanism combined with a double-lock closure system gives an audible click when securely closed. The tether can be changed without altering the friction setting, letting climbers adjust their system quickly without disrupting their setup.
