Constructed from premium 2.5–2.6 mm Perwanger® leather, the Defender Max boots deliver exceptional durability and weather resistance while remaining comfortable during long days in the forest. A climate-regulating waterproof membrane helps keep feet dry while allowing moisture and heat to escape, maintaining comfort across changing weather conditions.

Underfoot, the boots feature a Vibram® TETON outsole with aggressive bi-directional lugs and an asymmetrical heel for excellent traction on steep terrain, wet woodland floors and unstable ground. Safety features include a 200 J steel toe cap, midsole penetration protection, and advanced D3O® side-impact protection combined with a full 360° rubber rand for added durability against abrasion and impacts.
