The OMEGA-RQ18 Rigging Line is a heavy-duty 18mm arborist rigging rope designed for maximum strength, durability and reliable handling during large-scale tree dismantling and heavy lowering operations. Built for professional arborists, this rope uses a balanced double-braid construction that distributes load efficiently between the core and outer cover, helping maintain consistent performance and long service life.

This version is supplied with a 180mm professionally hand-spliced eye termination, providing a secure attachment point for rigging blocks, pulleys and lowering devices. With low elongation (less than 4%), the OMEGA-RQ18 offers excellent control when lowering large timber sections, positioning loads or carrying out precision rigging work.

Despite its extremely robust build, the rope maintains a flexible feel and smooth handling for everyday arborist use. Each rope also includes a SMARTPPE scannable traceability system, allowing arborists and safety managers to track inspections, usage history and equipment records efficiently.

Calculated using Sigma standard deviation from five tensile test results performed on hand-spliced eyes.

Note: The spliced-eye strength rating is configuration and method dependent and is provided as a statistically derived performance rating. It should not replace rope-body MBS unless the end-use configuration matches the stated test setup.
