If you don't need the integrated SRS-specific features, the standard Petzl Sequoia offers similar core comfort at a lower price point — see the comparison below.
Compare Sequoia Plus vs Sequoia
| Feature | Sequoia Plus (this harness) | Sequoia (standard) |
|---|---|---|
| SRS Integration | Direct KNEE GRAB compatibility built in | Standard attachment points |
| Padding | 3D foam, extra-wide waistbelt and leg loops | Standard Petzl comfort padding |
Certified Protection Explained
CE EN 813 is the European standard for sit harnesses used in work positioning and rope access. CE EN 358 covers work-positioning and restraint equipment, confirming the harness is tested for sustained side-loading during positioning work — not just vertical suspension. Together they confirm the Sequoia Plus is certified for both climbing suspension and lateral work-positioning loads typical of arborist work.
Pairs Well With
Add SEQUOIA Shoulder Straps for extra load distribution on long days, or the SEQUOIA Attachment Bridge as a genuine replacement part.
