Important Use Guidance

Professional chainsaw PPE is required at all times. The MS 300 C-M is a professional-grade petrol chainsaw. Use requires certified chainsaw protective trousers (EN ISO 11393-2), chainsaw boots, a helmet with integrated face shield and hearing protection, and chainsaw gloves appropriate to the application. At 104 dB(A) sound pressure, the MS 300 C-M requires hearing protection rated for this exposure level on every use.

Vibration levels of 3.5 m/s² on the left handle and 4.2 m/s² on the right. Professional operators should be aware of daily vibration exposure limits under the Control of Vibration at Work Regulations 2005. The EAV (Exposure Action Value) is 2.5 m/s², and the ELV (Exposure Limit Value) is 5 m/s². Track daily usage time against vibration exposure and rest hands and arms appropriately.
