It controls ignition timing and fuel metering in all work situations, taking account of temperature, altitude and fuel quality, so the saw performs from the outset with no manual carburettor adjustment. 2-MIX is STIHL's low-maintenance 2-stroke technology, run on a petrol and engine oil mixture. Four overflow channels guide the fuel-and-air mixture into the cylinder in a more compressed way, lowering fuel consumption and exhaust emissions, and the engine meets the EU Stage V emissions directive.
