The STIHL AK 20 Battery & AL 101 Charger Starter Set is the ideal power solution for your STIHL AK System tool. Designed for homeowners and serious garden users, this starter kit includes the high-capacity AK 20 36 V lithium-ion battery and the AL 101 standard charger — giving you everything you need to get started.
The AK 20 is a 36 V, 4.0 Ah battery with an energy capacity of 144 Wh, offering longer runtimes for demanding gardening tasks such as lawn mowing, hedge trimming and leaf clearing. An integrated LED charge indicator allows you to quickly check remaining battery capacity. The intelligent battery management system ensures consistent power output from full charge down to low levels, while the cold start feature protects battery cells by warming them in a controlled way before delivering full performance — enabling operation in temperatures down to -20°C.
The AL 101 charger is a 230 V charger compatible with STIHL AK System batteries and AP System batteries. It features passive cooling and an LED status indicator that clearly shows charging progress. Designed for convenient storage and workshop use, it includes a Velcro cable strap for tidy cable management and can be wall mounted in a garage or shed.
