The Arbortec ATHV4010 Breatheflex Chainsaw Trousers in Hi-Vis Orange are a premium choice for arborists and foresters who require the optimal balance of safety, comfort, and mobility. Designed specifically for professional tree care in the UK, these trousers are a result of a focus on creating a garment that is as lightweight, comfortable, and breathable as possible, while still offering excellent protection.

These trousers are rated for Class 1 (20 m/s) chainsaw protection, with a Design A standard, meaning the saw protection is located on the front of the legs. The high-performance protective layers are made with high tenacity polymer and Kevlar®, ensuring a multi-layered shield that is both effective and lightweight.

For enhanced durability and wearer comfort, the outer shell is made from Climasphere breathable fabrics, which are also highly abrasion and snag resistant—a critical feature for tree climbers. The six-way stretch property of the fabric makes these some of the most comfortable forestry chainsaw trousers available, allowing for a full range of motion.

A key feature is the Kevlar®-reinforced crotch, which is designed to eliminate ripping and is made with an incredibly stretchy fabric, allowing for the ultimate amount of movement and flexibility in the tree.

For safety in low-light conditions and near traffic, these trousers are certified to EN ISO 20471 for high visibility and the UK's rail industry standard, RIS - 3279-TOM. The hi-vis orange colour, combined with the reflective bands, ensures you are easily seen and remain safe on the job.
