The CAMP Enigma is a tree surgeon's dream tool. It's a completely openable swivel with large pivoting shackles that allow for connections directly to both metal and textile tree climbing gear without the use of connectors. This makes it incredibly versatile and efficient to use.
The rotating swivel combined with the pivoting shackles allow for an incredible range of orientations and movements. This is essential for tree surgeons who need to be able to work in difficult and awkward positions.
The unique design opens the swivel and both shackles with a single screw (key provided with product). This makes it quick and easy to assemble and disassemble, even when wearing gloves.
The safety locking system is independent and opposite to the working direction of the device for easy and safe assembly. This is important for safety, as it prevents the device from accidentally opening while in use.
The Enigma is made with a stainless steel core with ball bearings and an aluminium alloy main body and rings. This gives it a very high breaking strength (23 kN) and a high working load limit (5 kN). This makes it strong enough to withstand even the most demanding applications.
The shackles have a large opening (18 mm) and large inner working space to allow for connection of several devices to the same ring. This makes it ideal for use in complex rigging systems.
