HAIX Protector Forest 2.1 GTX Chainsaw Boots
The HAIX Protector Forest 2.1 GTX is a premium professional forestry boot engineered for demanding chainsaw work where maximum protection, grip, and climate comfort are essential. Certified to Class 2 chainsaw protection and built with robust, weatherproof materials, this boot is trusted by forestry professionals working in harsh, high-risk environments.
The upper is made from hydrophobized suede leather with a thickness of 2.8–3.0 mm, delivering durability and breathability. A GORE-TEX® Performance lining ensures the boot is fully waterproof while remaining breathable, supported by an abrasion-resistant lining with a fleece inner layer for all-season comfort.
For safety, the Protector Forest 2.1 GTX features Class 2 cut protection tested up to 24 m/s, a wide, anatomically designed HAIX® protective toe cap, and a sturdy construction that meets rigorous safety standards. The HAIX® Climate System actively pumps warm air out with each step, helping to regulate temperature and reduce moisture build-up during long working days.
Underfoot, a Vibram® rubber/PU sole delivers excellent grip and stability on rugged terrain. The sole is heat, fuel-oil and slip resistant, while lightweight PU cushioning improves shock absorption and natural toe-to-heel movement. For extreme conditions, optional GRIP+ spikes can be screwed into the sole to enhance traction on branches and felled trunks.
A 2-Zone lacing system allows independent adjustment of the foot and leg areas for a secure, customised fit. Additional durability features—including a robust sole edge, rubber toe and heel protection, and a surrounding rubber edge strip—help protect against stones, spikes, and abrasion, extending the boot’s service life.
