The STIHL HTA 30 is a compact, lightweight and powerful cordless pole pruner designed for pruning high branches, removing deadwood and maintaining tall shrubs. As the first pole pruner in the STIHL AS System, it is ideal for homeowners who want professional-level cutting performance with maximum ease of use.
Available as a set which includes the HTA 30 tool, 2 × AS 2 lithium-ion batteries, and the ALS 31 charger. The batteries are compatible with all STIHL AS System tools, including GTA 26 garden pruners, HSA 26 trimmers, KOA 20 Compressor and ASA 20 powered secateurs.
With a tool-free telescopic shaft extending up to 280 cm, the HTA 30 gives you excellent reach from the ground, making it ideal for tall trees and hedges. Weighing just 3.6 kg, it is extremely easy to handle, with a soft-grip, rubberised handle for firm, comfortable control.
The HTA 30 uses a 20 cm STIHL Light 01 bar paired with a 1/4" PM3 chain, allowing clean and precise cuts on branches up to 17 cm diameter. Chain tensioning is fully tool-free thanks to an intelligent spring-loaded mechanism that automatically adjusts when you open and close the sprocket cover.
For storage and transport, the shaft shortens from 280 cm to 190 cm. The transparent oil tank makes maintenance simple, while low noise and low vibration levels allow comfortable operation without hearing protection.
Working time: up to 28 minutes or approx. 140 cuts using 2 × AS 2 batteries.
