ISC Phlotich Pulley – Multi-Aperture Pulley for SRT & DdRT
The ISC Phlotich Pulley is a specialist multi-aperture pulley designed for professional arborist SRT and DdRT climbing systems. Built for efficient rope alignment, clean connector positioning and advanced climbing configurations, it is ideal for Rope Wrench setups, doubled rope climbing and mechanical advantage systems.
Designed with profiled side plates, multiple attachment points and ISC’s unique kidney aperture, the Phlotich Pulley helps reduce clutter at the anchoring karabiner while improving alignment between the hitch, pulley, tether and climbing system. Available with bushings or bearings, it offers versatile performance for a wide range of professional tree climbing applications.
Key Features
- ISC Phlotich multi-aperture pulley
- Designed specifically for SRT and DdRT climbing systems

- Profiled side plates help capture the host line
- Helps reduce host line movement during climbing
- Parallel mated side plates allow clean karabiner connection
- Compatible with twin leg tether Rope Wrench setups
- Lower anchor aperture allows full karabiner rotation
- Unique kidney aperture allows multiple karabiner connections
- Approved to EN12278:07
Designed for SRT & DdRT Climbing
The ISC Phlotich Pulley is designed to support both Single Rope Technique and Doubled Rope Technique climbing systems, making it a versatile pulley for modern arborist climbing setups.
Clean Rope Wrench Alignment
The parallel side plates allow a twin leg tether to sit neatly in Rope Wrench systems, helping align the hitch, pulley and tether correctly on the anchoring karabiner while reducing clutter.
Profiled Side Plates
The profiled side plates help capture the host line, reducing unnecessary rope movement and supporting smoother climbing system performance.
Unique Kidney Aperture
The kidney aperture allows a wide range of karabiner shapes to rotate freely and can accept multiple karabiner connections at one time. It also allows connectors to self-centre depending on load direction, improving efficiency during climbing manoeuvres.
Efficient DdRT Karabiner Alignment
When used in doubled rope climbing, the Phlotich Pulley allows two anchoring karabiners to be aligned efficiently on one pulley instead of being separated across two individual anchors.
Mechanical Advantage & Double Crotching
Thanks to its multiple attachment points, the Phlotich Pulley can be used effectively for double crotching and setting up efficient mechanical advantage systems.
Bushings or Bearings
The Phlotich Pulley is available with either bushings or bearings depending on the intended climbing setup and performance preference.
