The Arbortec AT34000 Kayo Chainsaw Protective Climbing Boots are a new-generation technical chainsaw boot designed specifically for professional climbing work. Built to suit the modern arborist, the Kayo combines a low-cut, slim profile with serious protection, giving you the freedom of movement you want in the canopy—without compromising on safety.
A key design feature is the boot’s shape and height. The low-cut style supports mobility, while a chainsaw-protected gator and tongue help protect critical areas for professional users. The upper is handcrafted from premium leathers, laminated with chainsaw protective materials and a waterproof membrane. Arbortec’s BreatheDry system keeps the boots waterproof and highly breathable, improving comfort during long, intensive workdays.
Durability is reinforced with a rubber rand wrapped around the lower half of the boot, helping resist abrasion from spikes, brash, and rough terrain. The unique lacing system and secure inner sock deliver a snug, stable fit for both wide and narrow feet, while also helping prevent detritus from entering the boot. Underfoot, a Vibram rubber lug sole provides confident grip in all conditions—ideal for wet bark, muddy approaches, and technical ground.
