STIHL KMA 120 R Cordless KombiMotor: Versatile Power for Professional Landscaping and Gardening

The STIHL KMA 120 R is a professional-grade, cordless KombiMotor designed for diverse gardening tools, landscaping tools, and maintenance tasks. This battery KombiMotor has low noise emissions – making it ideal for work in noise-sensitive tools such as schools, hospitals, and quiet neighborhoods. It’s powered by a 36-volt lithium-ion battery from the AP System, and is quiet, efficient, and powerful enough to tackle a variety of tasks – whether it’s pruning, trimming, mowing, clearing, or cutting! This multi-tool is compatible with all STIHL KombiTools (except FSB-KM), attaching and changing tools is made simple too – all you need to do is insert your desired tool into the shaft and tighten to secure it in place.  

Fitted with a new style adjustable handle loop handle that has a quick-mounting system, meaning you can adjust the handle to your height for an ergonomic working position. This handle also makes tackling tasks on slopes, around trees or on uneven terrains even easier. The KMA 120 R has a powerful brushless EC motor and speed-adjustment on the control handle, which can be set at 2 different speed settings. There is an ECO mode (level 1), for KombiTools suited to simple tasks such as trimming lawn edges, which results in lower energy consumption for extended battery life. And there is full speed mode (level 2), for KombiTools suited to tasks that need more power, such as clearing leaves which requires extra battery energy. However, depending on the KombiTool attached, the speed adjustment can also be infinitely variable.

You can use any of the AP batteries with the KMA 120 R, however, working times will vary depending on which attachment you use with it. The AP 500 S battery will give you the longest working times but is also the heaviest of the AP batteries, so you may decide to choose a smaller capacity battery if you are going to be using the tool for a longer period of time, such as when hedge trimming.

The KMA 120 R is supplied with a basic harness as standard. KombiTools sold separately. It is a highly effective product in the STIHL cordless tools range.
