Notch Speedline Lite System
The Notch Speedline Lite System is a lightweight arborist speedline kit designed to make tree rigging and speedline work faster, cleaner and more controlled. Ideal for UK tree surgeons, climbers and ground crews, this speedline rigging system lets you send limbs and timber straight to the chipper truck, protecting lawns, patios and garden structures at the base of the tree. Whether you need a speedline kit for tree work on large dismantles or a compact speedline rigging kit UK for everyday reductions, the Lite System cuts weight without sacrificing strength.
Featuring 30% lighter speedline slings and an innovative rigid Speedrack, the system keeps your speedline slings organised, easy to deploy and quick to re-rack. It’s a smart upgrade for professional crews and advanced DIY users looking for a tidy, efficient way to manage material during lowering operations.
Available from :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}, this is a dependable piece of tree rigging equipment that integrates seamlessly into modern arborist workflows.
Key Features & Benefits
- Complete speedline rigging system for efficient branch and timber handling
- New Lite slings are approximately 30% lighter than standard speedline slings
- Rigid Speedrack keeps slings organised and ready to deploy at height
- Each sling includes a double-action 24 kN aluminium carabiner
- Girth hitch connection allows slings to be rotated for even wear and easy replacement
- Speeds up sending branches directly to the chipper truck to protect lawns and worksite
- Ideal for busy UK arb crews, utility teams and advanced domestic users
From the Designer
“We devised this simple solution to help manage speed line slings. It works especially well when you have two kits of varied-length slings. Six 26-inch slings can hang on one side of the rack and six 40-inch slings on the opposite side. This helps you select the correct length sling when needed. It’s ideal when the ground crew has a second, empty rack on the ground ready to re-rack the slings in preparation for sending back up to the climber, Speed Racking.”
- Mike Storey, Director of Innovation

Choosing Between 26" and 40" Slings
- 26" Speedline slings – great for shorter brush, timber and work in tighter crowns where you want the load closer to the line.
- 40" Speedline slings – offer extra reach around larger limbs, helping you keep the line clear of snags and balance bigger sections.
Many crews run a mix of both lengths in one arborist speedline system, using the Speedrack to separate and identify each size at a glance.
Who Is the Notch Speedline Lite System For?
- Professional arborists and tree surgeons running regular speedline operations
- Ground crews handling heavy brush and timber in restricted drop zones
- Utility and commercial teams needing efficient tree rigging equipment
- Advanced domestic users tackling larger trees with a supported climbing and rigging setup
Comparison – Speedline Lite vs Standard Speedline Slings
| Feature | Speedline Lite System | Typical Standard Slings |
|---|---|---|
| Weight | Approx. 30% lighter for reduced fatigue | Heavier, bulkier to carry up the tree |
| Organisation | Rigid Speedrack keeps lengths separated and ready | Loose slings often tangle or mix lengths |
| Deployment Speed | Fast visual selection; easy “speed racking” workflow | Slower to sort and clip in, especially with mixed kits |
If you’re looking for a lightweight speedline kit that improves workflow, protects the drop zone and keeps the crew moving, the Notch Speedline Lite System is a smart upgrade to your existing tree rigging setup.
