Pfanner Pilatus Chainsaw Boots – Class 2
The Pfanner Pilatus Chainsaw Boots are a high-performance Class 2 chainsaw boot developed specifically for professional arborists and forestry workers who need dependable protection, strong grip, and climbing-friendly design. Positioned as a budget-focused option within the Pfanner range, the Pilatus delivers excellent comfort and durability at a more accessible price point than Pfanner’s premium models.
Built using Pfanner’s patented rivet construction, the upper material, chainsaw cut protection, and rubber rand protection are securely riveted together in a continuous wave from top to bottom. This design helps maintain structural integrity in high-wear areas and significantly extends the working life of the boot. A large rubber rand and new hard rubber heel reinforcement provide added protection against abrasion in tough environments.
For all-weather performance, the Pilatus features a waterproof Sympatex membrane combined with a durable Cordura lining, keeping feet dry while remaining breathable. The Vibram® rubber sole offers excellent shock absorption and grip, while its gentler tread pattern is designed to be kinder to tree bark during climbing. Round rivet eyelets are climbing-friendly and won’t damage ropes, making these boots equally reliable on the ground or in the tree.
Certified to EN 17249 Class 2 for chainsaw protection and EN 20345 S3, the Pfanner Pilatus is finished with a protective aluminium toe cap, offering high levels of safety for professional chainsaw work. Please note: no PPE can provide absolute protection—safe working practices are essential.
