The Pfanner Säntis Chainsaw Boot is Pfanner’s first budget-friendly forestry chainsaw boot, designed to deliver dependable safety, comfort, and grip for demanding professional work. Offering Class 2 chainsaw protection, the Säntis is an excellent choice for users who want reliable protection at a more accessible price point.
A standout feature of the Säntis is Pfanner’s patented rivet construction, which securely connects the upper material, chainsaw protection layers, and rand protection. This ensures the cut-protection material remains correctly positioned, helping deliver optimal protection even in worst-case scenarios.
The upper combines Cordura with a ceramic surface to resist scuffs and abrasion, while the Sympatex membrane and breathable Cordura lining keep feet dry and comfortable throughout long working days. Underfoot, a shock-absorbing Vibram® sole provides excellent grip, stability, and comfort across rough forestry terrain.
For added versatility, the Säntis is crampon-resistant and compatible with Pfanner fittings such as Piz Buin for extra traction on slippery surfaces. A protective aluminium toe cap and new hard rubber heel reinforcement further enhance durability and protection for professional use.
