The STIHL RMA 448 PV cordless lawn mower is a powerful, feature-packed solution for maintaining medium to large gardens with ease. Designed for demanding domestic users, this quiet yet high-performance mower combines a variable speed Vario drive, intelligent electronics and a robust lightweight build to deliver consistent cutting results across changing lawn conditions.

Part of the AP System, the RMA 448 PV is powered by the high-output AP 300 S battery, which is interchangeable across STIHL’s professional cordless range. Thanks to sequential battery discharge, the mower automatically switches to a second battery when the first is depleted, allowing uninterrupted mowing.

The mower features a rugged double-layer polymer deck that is lightweight, rust-proof and UV-resistant, making it ideal for long-term use. Its 46 cm / 18" cutting width strikes the perfect balance between productivity and manoeuvrability, while central single-point height adjustment offers six cutting heights between 20–100 mm.

With four mowing modes, the RMA 448 PV adapts easily to lawn conditions. You can collect clippings in the 52-litre grass catcher, cut and drop, use the integrated side discharge for longer grass, or mulch using the multi-blade and mulching attachment. The folding grass box includes a fill-level indicator and airflow system for efficient, clean collection.

Operator comfort is enhanced by the mono-comfort handlebar, which is height adjustable, foldable for compact storage and allows easy access to the grass box. The built-in electronic interface (HMI) displays battery charge, mowing mode and motor speed, giving you full control at a glance. Smooth-running wheels and Vario wheel drive allow infinitely variable speed adjustment to suit your walking pace and terrain.

Intelligent features such as Eco mode, POWER BOOST and CONSTANT POWER ensure the mower delivers strong, consistent performance while maximising battery efficiency. With IPX4 splashwater protection, the RMA 448 PV is suitable for everyday use even in damp conditions.
