The SIP Protection Canopy W-AIR Chainsaw Trousers are high-performance Type A chainsaw trousers designed specifically for professional arborists who need maximum ventilation, mobility and reliable protection when climbing or working in the canopy. Developed within SIP’s Innovation range, these trousers combine advanced materials, a redesigned ergonomic fit and large ventilation panels to create one of the most breathable arborist chainsaw trousers available.
Built using TeXXion full-stretch outer fabric with durable Cordura® reinforcement and water-repellent coatings, the Canopy W-AIR trousers deliver excellent flexibility and abrasion resistance for demanding tree work. A redesigned waist and stretch crotch provide a secure and comfortable fit while climbing, allowing unrestricted movement throughout the working day.
Protection comes from a six-layer Dyneema® chainsaw protective inlay, delivering certified EN 381-11 Class 1 Type A protection (20 m/s). Reinforced Pezaflex Aqua waterproof Cordura® knee panels increase durability in high-wear areas, while integrated gaiters with lace hooks help keep the trousers securely positioned and prevent debris entering boots.
Available in two inside leg lengths – regular (82 cm) and tall – the SIP Canopy W-AIR trousers provide a tailored fit for arborists who demand comfort, protection and breathability when working at height.
