The STIHL FSA 400 is a very high-performance professional tool for heavy grass clearance, shredding dense growth and felling small trees. As STIHL's first battery-powered clearing saw, it delivers cutting performance comparable to the petrol FS 411 C-EM, with low noise and zero exhaust emissions — ideal for landscaping and grounds maintenance in noise-sensitive areas such as schools, hospitals and residential sites.

Powered by the STIHL AP System, the FSA 400 features a comfortable bike handle with quick folding clamp adjustment for a fast, tool-free ergonomic setup. A durable EC brushless motor with 3 speed levels and automatic RPM adjustment tailors performance to the cutting attachment — up to 6,900 rpm with BrushCut or PolyCut heads, around 5,000 rpm with the AutoCut head — optimising both cutting performance and battery runtime. The integrated STIHL anti-vibration system and supplied ADVANCE PLUS universal harness reduce operator fatigue on long shifts.
