The STIHL FSA 60 R is a powerful battery-powered grass trimmer designed for mowing, trimming, cutting and lawn edging in medium to large home gardens. As part of the STIHL AK System, it delivers strong cutting performance with low noise emissions, so you can work around the garden without worrying about disturbing neighbours.
Supplied with the AutoCut C 6-2 mowing head, the FSA 60 R can be refilled with line without tools. For extra versatility, it can also be used with the PolyCut 6-2 mowing head with polymer blades or the DuroCut 5-2 mowing head with serrated line pieces for tackling denser grass and light scrub (both optional heads sold separately).
A soft-grip control handle with variable speed adjustment lets you finely control the mowing speed, while the robust aluminium shaft and adjustable loop handle help you set a comfortable working height. The included spacer bracket makes it easy to trim precisely around trees, shrubs and other obstacles, and clear safety glasses are supplied as standard so you can start work straight away.
With an AK 20 battery, the STIHL FSA 60 R offers up to 30 minutes of runtime, and this battery also provides excellent tool balance for comfortable use. CONSTANT POWER electronics maintain performance as the battery discharges, while compatibility with the STIHL Smart Connector means the machine can be integrated into STIHL connected for easy runtime and maintenance tracking.
