The STIHL MS 300 C-M VW is the heated version of STIHL's professional MS 300 C-M petrol chainsaw, built for foresters, arborists and demanding users who need a powerful, lightweight saw for everyday forestry work in cold weather. Electrically heated front and rear handles give a better grip and safer working in the cold, and a temperature-controlled electrically heated carburettor prevents icing during winter use.

Four overflow channels guide the fuel-and-air mixture into the cylinder in a more compressed way, lowering fuel consumption and exhaust emissions, and the engine meets the EU Stage V emissions directive.
