The STIHL RM 253 T petrol lawn mower is a reliable single-speed, self-propelled mower designed for homeowners who want effortless mowing on medium to large lawns. Part of STIHL’s 2 Series petrol mower range, the RM 253 T combines practical features, solid build quality and flexible mowing options for everyday garden maintenance.

Built around a torsion-resistant sheet steel deck, the RM 253 T offers a generous 51cm (21") cutting width to help you cover larger areas quickly. Power comes from the dependable STIHL EVC 205 petrol engine, which features an easy-start system for reliable starting in both cold and warm conditions. On a full tank, the mower can comfortably handle lawns of up to 1800 m².

Thanks to the single-speed wheel drive, mowing requires far less effort, especially on slopes or uneven ground. Smooth-running wheels provide excellent traction and directional stability, allowing you to maintain consistent control and a neat finish throughout the lawn.

The central single-point cutting height adjustment offers a wide range from 20mm to 100mm, making it easy to adapt to seasonal growth or personal preference. A clear scale shows the selected cutting height, so you always know your setting at a glance.

With its 4-in-1 mowing system, the RM 253 T adapts to all grass conditions. You can collect clippings, cut and drop, use the integrated side discharge, or mulch using the multi-blade and mulching attachment. Mulching finely chops grass and redistributes it back into the lawn, helping to fertilise naturally while saving time on disposal.

User comfort is enhanced by the mono-handlebar design, which provides easy access to the 55-litre grass catcher box. The catcher features a fill-level indicator and a folding design for quick, clean emptying. The handlebar is height adjustable, foldable, and fitted with a super-soft ergonomic grip to reduce vibration during use. For added peace of mind, the mono-handlebar is covered by a 10-year domestic warranty.
