The unique sideplate opens while still attached to the anchor, meaning you can install or remove rope without detaching from your connection point. This reduces handling time and significantly improves safety compared to traditional pulleys that must be fully removed from a carabiner to load or unload rope. A two-stage, double-catch mechanism provides secure locking of the sideplate during operation.
