The STEIN Sentinel Chainsaw Trousers Type A are high-performance Design A Class 1 chainsaw protective trousers developed for professional arborists, forestry workers and tree surgeons who require flexibility, durability and all-day comfort. Built with lightweight European protective materials and multi-directional stretch fabric, these trousers deliver dependable chainsaw protection while maintaining excellent mobility for climbing and ground work.

The Sentinel trousers use a 5-layer European protective blocking system certified to EN ISO 11393-2:2019, providing front-leg chainsaw protection tested to 20 m/s. The breathable multi-directional outer fabric improves movement and comfort, while the roomy tailored leg design encourages airflow for a cooler internal environment during demanding work.

High-wear zones are reinforced with ArmortexKFM, a waterproof, tear-resistant Kevlar polyamide material used in the knee and greave areas to increase durability when working around rough bark, branches and climbing equipment. Pre-formed knees enhance comfort and mobility, while large rear ventilation zips allow airflow control during hot weather or intensive forestry work.

Practical design details include harness-compatible pockets with downward zips, reinforced belt loops and an elasticated inner-hem lace hook that keeps the trousers securely positioned while preventing sawdust entering footwear.
