The STIHL RMA 453 PV cordless lawn mower is a feature-packed, high-performance mower designed for large home gardens where power, runtime and control matter. With a wide 51cm (20") cutting width, Vario variable-speed drive and advanced electronic controls, this mower delivers petrol-like performance with the convenience and quiet operation of battery power.

Built around a rugged, double-layer polymer deck, the RMA 453 PV is lightweight, rust-proof and UV-resistant while remaining highly durable for long-term use. Its generous cutting width makes it ideal for tackling larger lawns efficiently, reducing mowing time without sacrificing finish quality.

Part of the professional-grade STIHL AP System, the RMA 453 PV is powered by the recommended AP 300 S battery, which is interchangeable across STIHL’s AP range. Thanks to sequential battery discharge, the mower can be fitted with two batteries and will automatically switch from the first to the second without interrupting your work. With one AP 300 S battery, you can mow up to 450 m² – extending to 900 m² when using two batteries.

The Vario self-propelled wheel drive allows infinite speed adjustment via the handlebar, making it easy to adapt to slopes, grass length and personal walking pace. An integrated electronic interface (HMI) on the mono-handlebar provides real-time information on battery charge, speed settings, mowing mode and system status, giving you full control at a glance.

A versatile 4-in-1 mowing system lets you collect, mulch, side discharge or cut and drop depending on conditions. The large 55-litre grass collection box features a fill-level indicator and folding design for fast, clean emptying. The height-adjustable mono-comfort handlebar improves ergonomics, folds for compact storage and carries a 10-year domestic warranty.

With CONSTANT POWER electronics, Eco mode, IPX4 splashwater protection and intelligent battery communication, the RMA 453 PV is built to deliver consistent cutting performance in real-world UK conditions — even on demanding lawns.
