The STIHL FSA 30 is an ultra-light, battery-powered grass trimmer designed for mowing jobs in small home gardens, tidying lawn edges and clearing around trees, shrubs, steps and garden walls. As part of the compact STIHL AS System, it uses a removable lithium-ion battery that can also power other tools such as the HSA 26 shrub shears and HSA 30 hedge trimmer, giving you a flexible cordless setup for small garden maintenance.

The FSA 30 offers excellent adjustability and control. You can easily adjust the shaft length to suit your height, set the loop handle angle for comfort, and even rotate the mowing head by up to 90° for precise lawn edge cutting. An integrated LED charge-level indicator lets you check the remaining battery capacity at the touch of a button, helping you plan your work more efficiently.

Supplied as standard with the PolyCut 3-2 mowing head, the FSA 30 uses two robust polymer blades that can be replaced quickly and without tools. It is also compatible with the AutoCut 3-2 head (using mowing line instead of blades), giving you extra flexibility for finer trimming work. A practical spacer bracket protects plants, bark and objects while trimming, and the included clear safety glasses mean you can get started straight away.
