Product information & specifications
STIHL RLA 240 Cordless Battery Scarifier and Aerator
The STIHL RLA 240 Cordless Battery Scarifier and Aerator is a lightweight and efficient lawn care machine designed to rejuvenate your grass. Powered by the reliable STIHL AK Battery System, this scarifier and aerator helps improve lawn health by removing moss, thatch, and compacted soil – promoting better airflow, water absorption, and nutrient penetration.
With cordless freedom, quiet operation, and user-friendly design, the RLA 240 is ideal for domestic gardeners seeking professional results without the hassle of petrol. Interchangeable working attachments allow you to scarify or aerate, giving your lawn the tailored care it needs.
Key Features
- 2-in-1 functionality – scarifying and aerating for healthier lawns.
- Cordless convenience – part of the STIHL AK Battery System for flexibility.
- Quiet and eco-friendly – no fuel, low emissions, low noise.
- Lightweight and manoeuvrable – easy to use even in smaller gardens.
- Adjustable working depth – adapt to your lawn's condition.
Why Choose the STIHL RLA 240?
The 2-in-1 scarifying and aerating functionality is what sets this apart from a single-purpose machine — interchangeable attachments mean one tool handles both moss/thatch removal and soil aeration, so you don't need two separate machines for a full lawn renovation. Cordless AK System power keeps it quiet and fume-free, suited to domestic gardens where a petrol scarifier's noise wouldn't be welcome.
